Important Update on Kent Memorial Library Programs and Meeting Rooms March 12, 2020
In response to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Office of the First Selectman in Suffield is requesting that all Town Departments cancel all non-essential group activities and meetings until further notice. As a result, the library will be cancelling all library programs and use of meeting rooms for the month of March, and until further notice, effective immediately. We will continue to evaluate the situation and keep the public informed on when programming and use of meeting space will resume.
We would encourage our patrons to consider the digital resources the library has to offer, such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, and movies through Overdrive, RBDigital, BookFlix, and Hoopla. Our staff is committed to adapting to this change, and we are considering additional outreach opportunities to meet the needs of our constituents.
For the most up-to-date information please call the library at 860-668-3896 or visit our website at www.suffield-library.org as well as our social media platforms on Facebook and Instagram. Be sure to sign up for alerts on the Town’s website at www.suffieldct.gov
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. I will be sending out additional updates to the staff soon. Stay well, everyone! Garrett
