JANUARY ARTIST PHYLLIS TAYLOR



Longmeadow Artist Featured In Suffield Show

The Suffield Arts Council will feature the artwork of Longmeadow resident Phyllis Taylor in the

newly refurbished William Pinney Gallery at the Kent Memorial Library, in Suffield,  during December.

Active in the local  art community, Ms. Taylor is a past member of the Longmeadow Art Group, and is

a member of the Tobacco Valley Artists Association, and the Academic Artists Association. Her work

may be found in shows throughout Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut, where it has

captured many awards.  Growing up in Pachuca and Mexico City, she studied art at the American

High School, as well as in Mexico  City College, now known as University of the Americas. She studied

Architecture, and was employed by many firms throughout the region prior to her retirement.

 

The show will feature works in various media, with subjects including birds, animals, portraits, and

buildings. It will be on display the month of January.
