SCULPTURE

 If you’ve completed grades 5 and up you’re invited to learn how to make characters using
Polymore clay.

MYSTERY THEATER

Children in grades 5 and 6 will love this “who done it” mystery theater with the Marshmallow Masquers.  Join Detective Sam and solve the Case of the Mysterious Fossil Find.

COOKING WITH
KATIE

Children ages 9 – 14 are invited to join author Katie Wilton for a hands-on cooking class.  You’ll be making recipes from Katie’s cookbook—parmesan pita triangles, cream cheese filled strawberries and more—then each participant will have a chance to sample their tasty culinary creations.

Here's how it works: Read each week, from June 22 –
August 1.
You can read a book or a magazine.  When you’re done reading, pick up
a form at the library and fill it out.  Honest, it will only take 30 seconds. Leave the form at the Circulation Desk and get a weekly give-away:
a coupon for a Subway sandwich,
a coupon for a free game of bowling at Bradley Bowl, and more. Once we have your form, you become eligible for the weekly drawing on
Friday of that week.

Every week from June 27 to August 1 you’ll have a chance to win an exciting prize.

Summer Reading is funded by The Friends of the Kent Memorial Library, and sponsored by Highland Park Market, Wendy's Restaurant, Subway in Suffield, and Bradley Bowl of Windsor Locks.
