Looking to the west from the young adult area on the upper level, the
reference desk, media stations and adult reading area at the far end
are visible.  The large windows to the south and west provide magnificent
views of the ridgeline to the west of the Veterans' Memorial park and
picturesque South Main Street.

that opens to the story garden and the
Veterans' Memorial beyond.

This view from the south, looking past the Veterans' Memorial
shows the gradual slope from the Main Street level to the
Bank Lane level.  There is only a 10-foot difference between the
two elevations. With the artificial hill removed,
there is plenty of room for entry-level parking on
the Bank Street side.
