Joseph Pease:
Joseph Pease's writings are different than the other two individuals
included in this digital library. They appear to be more of an
autobiographical sketch, written at a time well after events had happened.
Joseph Pease was born in Enfield Connecticut in 1728, moved to Springfield and
later came to Suffield at the age of 22. This sketch is full of frank
entries that leave a few more questions than are answered. For example one
entry mentions Pease being "warned" out of Springfield, but doesn't mention what
that meant.
