Alexander King
Alexander King was born in 1737 and died in
1802. He married Experience Hitchcock. They had five sons, Orestes, who died
as a toddler, Carlos, Alexander, and a second child named Orestes.
Dr. King was a Representative to the General Assembly of Connecticut from
1768-1784, was Selectman of the town of Suffield for 30 years and town clerk for
28 years.

The King House Museum is located at
232 South Main Street (Route 75), Suffield
just a few miles north of Bradley International Airport.
It is open Wednesdays and Saturdays
from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. from May through September.
